I am a Christian who
desires to walk with Christ daily fulfilling His purposes in my life. God has called me to a very full life.
He has given me an opportunity to fill many roles. I’m a wife to my husband of almost 30 years
and a mom to three adult children. My
youngest child was diagnosed on the autism spectrum 10 years ago. It’s been quite a journey learning how
navigate all that comes with having a learning different child. In addition to my roles in our family, I have
been a pastor’s wife for most of my married life. We’ve served at our current church for over
20 years.
I have developed a
passion for encouraging, helping and training children who have learning
differences, along with their families.
I love helping families normalize family life while living with
disabilities.
Over the last few years, I’ve developed a business, One Piece
LLC. I provide Applied Behavioral Analysis social skill,
behavioral intervention, communication, and executive skill training for
children. I also serve as an advocate
for the child in meetings with professionals.
I love teaching families how to advocate for their child. One of
my goals is to help families take what the child learns in therapy or at school
and figure out ways to easily incorporate it into the home environment so the
child can make more progress.
