Fresh Interventions for Spring

Here are some things that are easy to do but would help make life better for you and your child.

1.  Get outside with your children when ever the weather allows.  Try some new parks.
2.  Play with your child(ren).  Put your phone away if you are on a stroller ride or playing outside.  Be engaged.  This is your window of opportunity to interact and develop relationship.  If you use every opportunity to interact with your children, everyone will benefit.
3.  Have times that your child knows you will give him/her your undivided attention.  When my son was young we went to bible study and the library every week.  My son knew that when we came home that we would read books until his sisters came home from school.
4.  Develop some spring and Easter traditions.  We had certain books we read for Easter.  We always did Resurrection Eggs.
5. Spring sensory bins and craft projects make an ordinary day extra special. Check out pinterest boards for many options.

Spring reminds us of a new day with all the new life we see in the trees and flowers.  It is a great time to add some new activities to the everyday(ness)  of life. Besides that, they can be free or of a minimal expense.  Have fun!
