A Tour I Didn't Want To Go On

.Who would sign up for a tour entitled "Special Needs Motherhood- Join the Adventure?" No one I know? It is nothing I would of chosen.

Special needs mommy lane was not my choice, It was God's! Over the next few Wednesdays we will look at some of the ways God has helped me grow through this tour I wouldn't of signed up to take.

9 In their hearts humans plan their course,
but the Lord establishes their steps. Prov. 16:9

Yes, I had my plans but God put me on the path He had for me. This is where I need to affirm God's sovereignty. this is where He called me to die to my dreams and receive His plan. As I write this, it is what God calls each of us to do. It may or may not be a special needs child. His plan may be quite different for each of us but it will require each of us to surrender to God's call. Of course, a person might resist but to experience peace it takes following the steps God has established.

In light of the truth of scripture, I can make some sense of this.  I would like to invite you to come along and join me for a few moments of this tour and see what God in His infinite wisdom has done.
