Bullying Resources

When discussing safety about learning different children, an area that comes to mind is the subject of bullying. This is something that falls under so many categories:  physical, emotional, an online.  It comes in all shapes and sizes.  We have been very fortunate, our experience with bullying is very limited.  For this reason I'm going to share resources from organizations that have a lot more experience with bullying.

This link to Autism Speaks page lists books, movies, research and websites with lots of information and helps on all kinds of bullying.
http://www.pacer.org/bullying/resources/students-with-disabilities  This is a website dedicated to bully prevention of those with disabilities.
Children need to have others to advocate for them on the issue of bullying.  They also need skills to know how to advocate for themselves.  The above organizations provide resources for both.
