It's the new year. It's a new semester. So what's your advocating plan? Are you thinking, "I have no idea! I don't have a plan." If this is your response, you are not alone. Advocating is hard work and it's to only play defense. Do you respond to difficulties not thinking there is a different and more effective way?
If you fight with only a defensive strategy, you may lose the battle. No team can win a game without an offensive and defensive strategy. Over the next few weeks, advocating posts will focus on how to plan and prepare as an advocate developing an offensive strategy. A defensive strategy is necessary but will be much more effective alongside an offensive or proactive one.
