Memorial Day Weekend is a time devoted to paying tribute to those who fought for our freedom in this country. One of the most impactful things I have ever seen was the American Cemetary at Normandy, France, Every man who designated himself as a Christian had a plain white cross on his grave. It was incredible to see so many crosses representing men who had fought for the freedom of others. Those simple white crosses brought me back to simple obedience Jesus showed by willingly going to the cross for sin- my sin. It's a great weekend to take some time to reflect both of these sacrifices for you.
