Everyday Summer Memories

When I think of making summer memories, I often think of big elaborate things like the year we went to the East Coast and saw fireworks while sitting on the beach on the ocean. It was great but is that what stirs my mind? No, it is the road side stand where we buy corn on the cob that was picked this morning. It is the melons and peaches I pick up while I'm there. It's the fireflies I watched my child catch. It's the family camp we went to for 11 summers. It's about the things our family experienced year after year. These are what children remember as adults. It is available to all. There is no problem for a child with a learning difference to enjoy these things. These are "accessible " to all!
