Have you been to a farmer's market this summer? If not, it's time. It is a great family activity. If you have a child with sensory issues, a little more planning may be necessary. Go on a day that's not overly hot. Go toward the end if crowds bother your child. Take a section of a large farmers market and explore it. How long can you child do well in the best conditions? Spend a few minutes less. You don't have to conquer everything. There is always another visit. The main thing is to expose your child to new things in a tolerable way. Farmers markets are great outing for this kind of gentle exposure to new things.
I hope you have a great time!
